VEIN was founded in late 2013 in influenced by the sounds of Death Metal and Groove and recruiting members and ex-members of renowned Colombian acts. Immediately they started arranging ideas into songs and on the same year played their first live show. Their live appearances are kind unique since the band, besides the music, also creates a painting on canvas, different on each show.

By 2015 VEIN released a digital EP containing four songs, it opens the band chances to get more live performances and a active schedule over the next two years. On 2017 they were invited to play Rock al Parque Fest, a show which gain for them the recognition from a widest audience, promoters, media and important musicians on the festival too. Soon after a deal was signed and their debut album “Chapter I” was released through HateWorks.

VEIN focuses on the introspection of human being and its relationship with society, they protest against the abuse of power, talks about the impulses censored by society and the internal struggle with our vices and so called sins.
